Ingredients

  • 1 tbsp cottage cheese
  • 250 g Swiss beef steak (e.g rib-eye)
  • 1 apple (cubed)
  • 100 g croutons
  • Salt, pepper
  • 1 ml cider
  • 2 tbsp dark veal stock
  • 1 tbsp butter
  • Rosemary and thyme
  • 1 garlic clove
  • 0.5 onion

The recipe for big appetites. Steak done differently
Salt the steak and then sear on all sides. Place in a gratin dish. Melt the butter in the same pan, then cook the garlic and onion until transparent. Add the apple and then the cider. Add the herbs, veal stock, croutons and cottage cheese. Spread over the steak and bake in the oven at 200°C for about 15 minutes.Cottage Sider Steak
