Ingredients

  • 1 packet mozzarella hearts
  • 500 g organic beef mince
  • 1 onion
  • 1 tbsp tomato purée
  • Salt, pepper
  • Paprika, cayenne
  • 30 g white bread without crust
  • 1 egg
  • 1sprig parsley
  • Lemon zest
  • Garlic and thyme
  • 1 tsp butter

How it’s done

Tasty Swiss-style meatballs with a cheese centre
Finely chop the onion and parsley. Mix the white bread with the egg. Add the meat, onion, parsley, cayenne, pepper and salt and mix well. Place in the fridge for about 30 minutes. After the mixture has cooled, mould it into meatballs of approx. 80 g each. Press a seasoned mozzarella heart into the middle of each meatball, roll by hand and sauté in a pan. Add the butter, garlic and thyme and finish cooking.
